My dad and mom were grain farmers until I was 13 and then dad started to work in the oilfield as an operator and than a Landman. Mom was a nurse and than stayed home to raise us as kids. We had cattle and pigs and hundreds of chickens. Many dogs and cats growing up. I had a couple horses too that I rode. Once dad was done farming that’s when we played lots of sports. My biggest sport was fastball and I travelled all over Canada and the USA playing fastball till I was 18 and when I was 35 the team I played with when I was 18 was inducted into the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame for fastball, as we had won 4 championships in a row for that team.
