My friend Becca showed me a picture of her baby girl Magdalena Monica in the outfit that I bought for her. Sunday night we went to my grandpa’s house for Thanksgiving dinner and played golf cards. On Thanksgiving Monday we had iced cappuccinos and painted pumpkins. We also went to Walmart for Stove Top Stuffing and went to Winners for an outfit for the CAFCL charity event night. During the safety and learning session of fire safety week, at the fire department with Jeff , we were able to practice with our stove top and pot getting the fire out by putting on the lid.

On Friday evening we decorated jars for the Halloween party! Sunday afternoon we made monster cookies and coloured. We were busy getting ready for auntie Gail’s visit next weekend! On Thursday evening we went to the charity action for the Camrose Association For Community Living, which was at the Camrose Casino, where we had supper, which was roast beef, mashed potatoes and vegetables. I had some cheesecake for dessert. This year was story teller themed and some people were dressed in Disney characters costumes. It was neat to hear some stories from the prince and the princess of the Kandu Camp and exploring their new adventures in Kandu Camp’s castle in their kingdom, which I can relate to because I went to that camp for many years back when I was young and I really enjoyed going there every summer. It was really good to give some money to the camp that I loved going to. The best part of the evening was seeing all the different costumes that people were wearing and seating with Cherylynn and her husband Jason at our table.

On Friday night it was the birthday bash and the Halloween party, there were some games. One was a game of finding little brats and the other game was to wrap toilet paper on the other person to turn them into a mummy* ! I was dressed as a cat (can you tell what kind of cat I am)? On Sunday afternoon my auntie Gail came to carve pumpkins and have dinner of ham, broccoli and grape salad with sweet potato casserole, and spinach orange salad! Monster cookies and tea for dessert. Unfortunately, my brother Joel and sister in law Ashley weren’t able to make it because they weren’t feeling well. We sent my dad with leftovers and pumpkins to carve another time.

On Thursday night we went to the concert Here Come the Girls, with Abba, Madonna, Shaina Twain, Pink, Katy Perry, Adele, Cher, Lady Gaga, Gloria , and Banaram. Everyone was fabulous. I saw my friend Kristen’s mom Margaret Carlson. On Halloween, my mom and I were dressed up as cats , and Joel and Ashley sent us their pictures of their pumpkins. We had 110 kids for trick or treaters. Come back next month for some Christmas events during these winterly months!
